TRAFALGAR DAY.
I a Yesterday was the 103 rd anniversary of Trafalgar day, and the occasion was celebrated by members of the Royal Naval and Royal Marines Association [by a dinner at the Strand Cafe, at whichi members were the guests of Mr. W. B. j Leyland. There was an attendance of about twenty-five, and the president (Mr. j i Thomas Allen) occupied the chair. After i I the inner man had been satisfied,! -churchwardens'* and tobacco were j brought into requisition, and the re- j | mamder of the evening was spent with j I song and story. Those who contributed j to the musical programme were Messrs. I W. George, Fogerty, Johnston, A. Har-1 vev. T. VV". Allen, Abel Eowe, and W. By Leyiand. A very enjoyable evening was! spent, and all honour done to those great' men who had made the history of our nation. During the evening the follow-j ing toasts were honoured: "The King," The Immortal Memory of Nelson,", •The Army and Navy and Auxiliary, Forces,*' and "Our Host." '
