Private advices received state that the Holmes-Allen trolley head was awarded the only medal at the Franco-British Exhibition. DEATH OF MR. V. L. SOLOMONS. ADELAIDE, October 20. The death is announced of Mr. V. L. Solomons, a member of the House of Assembly, in his 56th year.
