The British steamer Dunearn- was caught in a typfeoon off Goto Island, near Nagasaki, aaid foundered, taking down with her all 3sat two of the crew , . The survivors •wereJUr. The second officer .gavo the following account of the disaster:— ."On 2<r the -Dimearn- encountered a very seifere ty-phoon, and could make bat little -headway, the engines ■going- slow. .
