The members of the Auckland Flying Club flew their fourth ra<?e of the season from Taumarunui (144 miles air line) on .Saturday last. 138 birds, representing 22 lofts, liberated by the stationmaster (Mr. Brown) at 10.30 a.m. The winner was Mr. R. E. Wid-dows' pied hen A.F.C. 130 (Uenuku), vel. 1199 yds; Mr. Gisby's B.C. hen 11*29 (Havoc) was second, vel. 119Syds per minute; and Mr. H.
