ELOPED WITH A BOY.
HUSBAND FORGIVES WIFE WHO FELL IN LOVE WITH YOUTH OF EIGHTEEN. Mainly for the sake of the children a Lldudall (Wales) husband has shown rare uingnuniniity towards his erring spouse. The details transpired at the local police court on Monday, Aug. 20, when a youth of IS, Archibald Moore, traveller, and ii married woman, aged thirty-six, Lily Harriett Salmon, stood in the dock charged with stealing £4, the moneys of tile fcuiuli! prisoner's husband. Upor returning home after work recently Mr Salmon found that his wile had eloped with the lodger, Moore, taking away ii 4 of his nioii'-'.v and several articles of wearing apparel. The prisoners were traced to Worcestc - and arrested. Thy solicitor for the prosecution (Mr A. 11. Bullock) said Mr Salmon, iv the intertsts of hid wife and young children, had come to the conclusion that he could not proceed witli the charge. If he pressed the prosecution against the male prisoner it would only prolong his wife's agony. Although Moore had done him an irreparable v/roct'. Mr Harold Lloyd (who appeared for Moore) had consented to advise his cliett to contribute £4 (which uudouhtedly belonged to Mr Salmon) towards the costs, while Moore's father had given i an undertaking that his son, who wae Quite a lad, should be kept from the Salmon family. Uhe prosecution wag withdrawn.
