Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Newmarket Borough Council, he.d ou MONDAY, the 14th day of September, 190S, the tollowing Resolution was passed:— . "That for the purpose of providing the interest una otber charges on a loan of £3000, authorised to be raised by the Newmarket Borough Council, under -The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," for drainage works within the Borough of Newmarket, the said Newmarket Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 5d in the £ upon the ratable value of all ratable property iv the whole of the Borough of Newmarket, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half yearly on the Ist day of April, and the Ist day of October in each and every year during the currency of 1 such loan, being a period of twentyfive years or until the loan is fully paid off. And notice is hereby given that the said Resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council, to be held at the Borough Council Office, Newmarket, on MONDAY, the 19th day of October, 1908, at 7.30 o'clock p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order.
