HOMEWARD BOUND.

AUCKLAND MEMBERS ARRTVTE TO-NIGHT. TWENTY HOURS' Ov__Rl__ND TRIP. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) RAURIMU, this day. The northern members left Wellington for Auckland by special train at 12.5 this morning. The party includes Messrs Massey, Baurae, Kidd, Poole, Poland, Greenslade, Mander, Lang, Houston, Stall worthy, Thome George, Harris, Beehan, McCardle and Scotland. Several of the members are accompanied by their wives. Heavy rain was experienced over the greater part of the central section, thus hiding from view the beauties of Ruapehu and Tongariro and mountain scenery. The special train will arrive at Auckland about 7.45 this evening. This will be the first time on record on which any party his travelled from Wellington to Auckland in one day.
