HOME RULE MOVEMENT.
" DEPENDENT Os* OUTSIDERS." NEW YORK, October 1. The '"New York Sun," quoting Mr. Dillon's belief that the Irish cause, if kilied in America would soon die in Ireland,' says that if Mr. Dillon is right, it : mustbe mortifying to Irish enthusiasts to recognise that in all endeavours they ; must still be dependent on outsiders. "It is excusable," adds the "Sun," "if some of the outsiders are apt to conclude that the misery of the Irish people is somewhat exaggerated or that confidence j in their political representatives is in nowise universal among them."
