She leaves ior the South this afternoon. Information has been received in Sydney (states the ■"Commercial News"i that the Suez Canal Company is prepared to guarantee a safe passage through the canal to the North German Lloyd Company for one of their largest vessels to pass on her way to Australia. As a result of this arrangement, it is believed that the X.D.L. Company's Prinz Heinrich. a magnificent steamer of l?.C00 tons, will be sent out early next •year for a trip to Australia, THE INDHAVELLI. The s.s. Indravelli, en route from Vancouver, left Suva a- noon yesterday for Auckland, where she should arrive on Tuesday morning next. The indravelli has 6ul:.oG<Kt of timber and 130 tons general cario for Auckland. Her freighting tor ths 6outn is considerable. PASSENGERS FROM ENGLAND. A large number of passengers are espectted to arrive at Wellington from England nest Monday by the Shaw-Savil! liner Athenic. Included in the list are the following for Auckland:—First saloon: Miss F. Nairn. Second saloon: Misses Boult, M. E. Carter, N. Kelsey. M.. Willmort, Messrs. B. Barrie, W. A. Bayley. A. H. Ferguson.
