HARBOUR BOARD.
The Auckland Harbour Board met yesterday afternoon. The Hon E. Mitchelson presided, and there were also present: Messrs 11. Heather, C. C. Daere. A. Keyes, H. Braduey, A. E. Glover, J. Kneen, J. IJ Macfarlune, W. J. Napier, and A. J. Entricau, and Captain Mackenzie. Accommodation for Stevedores.—Messrs Nearing and Co., Ltd., wrote asking the Board to make some provision on the new wharf whereby they could keep the gear handy for the work of stevedoring. Similar applications for accommodation were made by W. E. Anderson. Morpeth Bros.. T. E. Siuel, Carr and naslam, Iluddart, Parker and Co., and Rich and Dlmery. The matter was referred to the engineer for resort.
