(To the Editor.) Sir, —Will you kindly allow mc space in your columns to say I have had busi-' ness dealing with Mr. G. Hanna—one of I the the last 18 years, I and I have always found him honourable and straightforward in his dealings. He employs twenty-five hands in his factor}-, and I think Dr.Purdy will agree with mc, the more of such men we have in our young ! country the better. The other Assyrians I know are all sober and peaceful citizens I —but, I presume, they are like our own countrymen, in one respect—they have | black sheep amongst them.—l am, etc., [ J. M. LENNOX.
