Commenting on the discrepancy between managers' reports and the actual result from crushing returns, an irate f-hareholder remarked at a meeting of a mining company -recently, "Either our manager ought to write a novel or be sacked." The only man that did not join in the laugh was the manager, who apparently resented the suggestion that M h*d literary -abilities.
