7 EXTINGUISHED BY RAIN. (Received 8.35 a-m.) • , . ■ ■ NEW YORK, September 29. Copious rains have extinguished all the forest fires in the United States with the exception of those in the Adirondack Hountahis, New York State. A large area of fine timber in this district has been destroyed by the fires, vMch have been raging in the range for tome time.
