Richmond-road- —Herbert Smith wrote re bavins level crossings at the intersecting streets in Richmond-road. The letter was referred To Tbe Streets Committee. Tutanekai-street-—Tbe Grey Lynn Park Syndicate wrote re tbe drain in Tutauekairoad. nnd The damage- done -by The storm wa:er. The' syndicate offered £_no towards the cost of laying the drain down Tbe street instead of as at present through private property. Tbe letter was referred to the Streets Committee to report. Mr Donald said it would be unwise for the Council to accept any liability. The syndicate had blocked The natural water course. Cox's Creek Drain.—The City Engineer ..le slating Thar 4.".i> acres of Grey Lynn, end 250 acres of Auckland would drain into Cox's Creek. The Town Clerk stated he figured out The cost, including The engineer's fees, to £7_T, for Grey Lynn, and £4015 for The city. The Mayor said he wonld call a special meeting of the Council to consider this matter. Mr Garland urged that there should hot be any undue delay. They would not get any benefit from the intercepting sewer for some time. Consideration was deferred to a special meeting lo be called by The Mayor. Great North-road.—Mr Garland drew attenth.n to The need fur repairing Great North-road.—The matter was referred to the committee. ■
