Vhe . twer Proprietary Company, Ltd, entered on a season of moving picture entertainments at the Opera House last night, when there was a large and apt preciative audience. All the picture* shown were remarkably distinct, even to light and shade, and there was an entire absence of flickering. Of the many fint"' pictures displayed pride of place rail--/. The concluding portion of the picture was cleverly conceived. The man in the sun was shown playing the game, he tired of it and passed it on to a young lady reclining in a crescent, presumably the moon, and when she found tha. •-, novelty wearing off she sent It along-tflr the world, which took it up as so__ thing new and tascmating. The view* of motor car races -were exerting, so ranch .; so that one might imagine that the. actual * vents instead of representation were in progress. A number of breakdowns at dangerous curves on the road were shown, and if accidents of the_ '. nature represented are at all common a the great motor races it is no small ,Wt»n. der that the various governments discountenance the holding of these trials of speed. Most of the accidents occurred, through the cars overturning at the sharp curves.
