EXTORTS. Per Aparima. for Calcutta: 50 horses. THE WAIMATE. Th<" New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Waimate arrived from the South at 6 a.m. to-day. The steamer anchored in the stream until this afternoon, when she came up to the railway wharf to take tbe berth vacated by the Aparinpa. The Waimate loads general cargo at Auckland for Londou up to Saturday next, when she sails for Napier and Wellington to fill up. She leaves the last named port for London direct on October 10th. This afternoon the s.s. Moana sailed for Dunedin. via ports. The s.s. Navua sailed for the Eastern Pacitic Islands this afternoon. The s.s. aparluia sailed for Calcutta, via Newcastle and Singapore this afternoon. It is reported that a fire was discovered in the bunkers of the steamer Clan MatheBon. when that vessel was at St. Vincent on her way out from New York to Australasian ports. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no damage was done to the cargo.
