SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT WAIHI
{By Telegraph.—Own CorrespouQent.l WAIHI, this day. A lad aamed McLaughlin had a very narrow escape from fatal injury on the Waihi Co.'s bush tram line yesterday. With others he was playing with trucks when he fell off, and one of the wheels catching his leg, stripped' his trousers right down, also the flesh off his leg, I escape from death being marvellous. First aid was rendered by Mr. Ridings. Some months ago a fatal accident occurred at the same place, when a Maori boy was killed.
