MEETING AT FEILDING. (By Telegraph.- -Press Association.) FEILDING, Friday. The annual meeting of the Folldlng centre i of the New Zealand Athletic Union was held : to-day. The report stated that the Government measure forbidding betting at sports meetings would greatly purify sport. ATHLETIC TARK COMPANY. WELLINGTON, Friday. At an extraordinary meeting of the Wellington Athletic Park Company to-day. it w.:s resolved to wind up the company voiun-i tarily. The AVellington Kugby Uuion is to I take over the company's lease and all its assets, except books of accounts. The lease is for 63 years, tn terms of 21 years each, the first of which has nearly expired. The paid-up capital of the company is stated In the last balance-sheet at £2337.
