A DISGRACE TO THE NATION.
ROOSEVELT ON HASKELL. (Received S-53 ajn.l NEW YORK, September 24. President Rooseveit. in reply to Mr. Bnairs challenge, declares that Mr. C. H. Haskell, Governor of the State of Oklahoma and treasurer of the Democratic i-tional Fund, is a disgrace to the natioa, and is totally unfit- to hold a public poation. He cites his former record as a nom"M*" promoter in Wall-street, and destines him as a corrupt official and a tool of the Standard Oi] Trust.
