On Tuesday we cleared an extra large caralogne of hides, skins, tallow, etc. Hides.—Market very firm, with brisk demand for all well flayed and conditioned | lots. We quote: Extra stout ox, TJd to 71d; stout Old to 6sd; medium, 5Jd to Gd; steer, 4sd to Od. Cow, heavy, 4;jd to 4_d; medium, 4d to lid; second-class, li-id to tl_d; kip, 3id to 4d; calf, sound, 4jd to od; cut, nominal; stags, 2d to _J.d per lb. Sheepskins.—Market firm. Butchers' skins, large, up to 4/8; good lines, 4/3 to 4/4; medium, il/4 lo 3/0; small, 1/6 to 21; damaged, Ud to 1/; pelt*, dry, Id to Sd each. Tallow.--Ftrm.
