Sir, —I do really believe that the subBequent little rhyme places mc a good first ot your old and very highly esteemed correspondent, Dr. Bakewell, re his Thyme, "America and Japanese.":— IWhere is "God's. Qtrn Country"? Far, far away. RVbere is "God's Own Country"? .Across- the windy say. /Blere is "God's Own Country"? Is it that sea-bound land. '. Sly green, green little island, My poor ould Ireland? No, Fm mashed on you Miss Zealandla, Take this Irishman's right hand; ffonrs is "God's Own Country," '■ That peaceful, glorious land. I am, etc.. IRISH.
