CL'P TIES. Ponsonby v. Corinthians A.—This match, contested oh the Domain, provided an exciting tussle. A rush by 11. and J. Webster at the commencement of the game resulted in the latter finding the net tor Ponsonbv A few minutes later W. Ritchie kicked dowu to Haddock, who passed to J Webster, to 11. Webster, the latter doubling the figures. Just before th e spell ended Ponsouby secured a third goal. On resuming play, Pousonby speedily accounted for a fourth, the Corinthians, liveninc np making their first and only goal shortly' afterwards. Before time was called Ponsonby having the control of the game,'netted two more goals, the match ending: Ponsonby 6Corinthians A, 1. ' ' North Shore (second) t. W.Y.M I (flrst) — North Shore won by 4 goals to o Gordon (second) v. North Sho"re (first) — North Shore emerged victorious after a good game, by 6 goals to nil. OTHER GAMES. Tabernacle Old Boys v. Tabernocl- —The Old Boys won by 5 goals to 3.
