I In connection with the deputation from t the unemployed that waited upon the [ Mayor of Auckland, a communication , was forwarded to the Government, and j to this the following reply was received by Mr A. M. Myers this morning. from J the Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward)': , "There is room for a number of irien i on various railway lines in the north, I and the Minister for Public Works will . give authority to put them' ; on. Appli- ; cation will require to be made through ' the Labour Bureau in Auckland."
