CORPORATION NOTICES. ■p|l T X OF AUCKLAND. ABATTOIR LOAN. Public Notice is hereby given that at a . Special Meeting held on the 18th June, 1908, the Auckland City Council made the following Special Order, viz,:— "That the Auckland City Council doth 2 hereby by Special Resolution intended to operate as a Special Order resolve to borrow an additional sum of not exceeding £9000 sterling (nine thousI and pounds) for the erection of additional buildings, additions to railway ; siding and other additional works necessary for the completion of the Abattoir now being erected at the ' corner of the Main South and Portage . roads, near Otahuhu, under provisions ; of 'The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900,' and the Amendments thereof, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenue of the City of Auckland." j "That the rate of interest upon such loan * shall not exceed 4* per cent per annum." | "That the loan be repayable in 21 years." i "That provision be made for the payi ment into a Sinking Fund of i per < cent per annum." ' "That there be pledged as security for 5 such loan the Abattoir. lands and buildings and the revenues derivable therefrom subject to the payment out of such revenues of all expenses of working the Abbatoir, and further subject to the existing loau chargeable thereon; and the revenues of the City of Auckland subject to the existing loans charegable on such revenues, and "That there be paid out of the loan the interest thereupon for the first year." The above Special Order will come up for Confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Auckland City Council to be held on the 16th day of July, 190S, at G. 30 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers, Cobnrg-street.
