MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The regular meeting of the Mount Kaeu Borcßjfb. Council was held last night The Mayor (Mr O. Nicholson) occupied the chair and there wot also present: Messrs T. S. Jacka, J. p. Kooton. E. H. Potter, X R. Boss, WT, Wamock, C. J. Tunks, J. Davis. E. Yates. B. Barns, W. Woollev B. -H. Cradgre. and C. Hudson. Financial Statement—The treasurer's report tor the period., ending June 22 -showed the various accounts to be in credit as follows:—Water account" (credit) £>0i 11/----trust account (credit); £S4 1/1J; general ae.connt (debit). £97 IS/11*: total credit balance. Moat ILe Grand Estate.—The dedication 5 f Mont le Graad estate roads and footpaths was accepted, and an order made that the seal be attached. Bellwood-a-reirae.-Sirs: tenders received ' l°t w °* "» Bellwood-avecne, as follows-— John Irjtoe, £365 IS/; J. X McLean. £3TI (withdrawn); Rhodes and Tuck, £475 - SA H S. Wilson, £&c 2/6: j>. Power. £53S 6/; Csirns and Holt, £553. Hr Irvine's tea- ' . fler was accepted. " • Claim for Damages.—Mr F. WHson Smith wrote claiming. compensation for alleged i carnage to property owned by 3lrs Salmon ] cansed by the alteration in the level of the ? road.- The Mayor said he understood that ] S^r?
