—— . NORTH ISLAND EGG-LAYING CONTEST. I ■ 1 The fifth week of* the second competition! promoted by the N. I. 2gg-layiug Competi- i, tion Association, Limited, at Cambridge, was concluded on Friday. 19th June, 1908. The following particulars are supplied by Mr A. B. Trythall, secretary to the competition. The nnmber of eggs laid during the week was S7l, being an average of 13.19 eggs per pen. The number of eggs laid since 16th May is 2537, being an average of 42,98 eggs per pen.
