The London "Referee" states that there Was no idea of asking the South African cricketers t 0 England until the project was brought forward by Mr. Abe Bailey, president of the South African Cricket Association, fcr a series of trian<nilar matches, and now Australians were to be treated as naughty children for not agreeing to a project upon which they should have been consulted before action was taken. Compared -with Australian, says the "Referee," South African cricket is a thing of yesterday.
