In their speeches aboard the Russian Royal yacht Standart at the conclusion j of the State visit of King Edward to | Czar Nicholas 11., both the Czar and the King laid stress on the happy settlement of outstanding difficulties. Both monarchs affirmed that the rapprochement would promote and maintain the peace of the world. I The Victoria and Albert, with the I King and Queen and their entourage I j aboard, sailed from Reval on the return | journey at three o'clock this morning. The vessel is due to arrive at the Nore on Sunday.

LONDON, June 11. The Stock Exchange expects a big Russian loan to be launched shortly, chiefly in Paris, but partly in London. Consols have fallen from £88 to £87 13/9 on the week, and high-class securities are depressed, owing to apprehension regarding the effect of an Anglo-Russian entente. The adverse effect of the entente on German sentiment, coupled -with the reaction after the recent rise, is chiefly responsible for the nervous state of the market. I The "Daily Chronicle" states that between four million and five million sterI ling in bar gold is being sent from London to St. Petersburg this week.
