Sir Wilfrid Laurier, replying to a question in the Dominion House of Commons, as to whether Lord Strathcona (High Commissioner for Canada) had been authorised to oppose the Blacksod Bay (Ireland) route for the "All-Red" i service, stated that Canada would united-1 ly support any route, the selection of which would be left to the company undertaking the service, the only condition being that the boats must run between Great Britain and Canada.
