LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. The championship matches of the Auckland Ladies' Golf Club were continued yesterday, when the semi-final was played, in addition to which several competitions were held. The results were as follows:— Championship Match (semi-final). —Miss Cotter beat Mrs W. Bloomfield, six up and five to play; Miss Gorrie beat Miss Martin, three up and two to play. In the approaching and putting competi-! tion, seven players tied with teu strokes each in the first round, Miss Payton eventuaUy winning with nine strokes, Miss Shuttleworth being next with 10. Miss G. Gorrie won the driving competition, covering a distance of 338 yards with three balls, Miss Towle being second with a distance of 282 yards. A parting competition was won by Miss Bramwell in five, Mrs O'Sorke being second with eijht.

A match will be played on the One-tree Hill links to-morros; afternoon between teams representing Auckland and Waihi, nine men aside.
