FALLIERES PROFOUNDLY IMPRESSED.

Pichon, in-the-course of an interview, stated that the President was profoundly impressed by the magnificent reception accorded him ,in London. "It is," he said, "most cheering to see the policy of the understanding -with Britain become triumphant in the form .of a close, permanent entente. "Both nations feel instinctively that this is -one of the surest means of counteracting all combinations of other Powers interfering with their interests 01 threatening their peace.
