OLD AGE PENSIONS.
BOX READ A FIRST TIME. (Received 9.10 ajn:) LONDON, May 29. In the House of Commons the Government's Old Age Pensions Bill was read a first time after Mr. W. W. Rutherford, Conservative member for the West (Derby Division of Liverpool, had protested against the anomaly of discriminating unjustly against married people in assessing the amount of the pension.
