'AN INTEBESTES T G -ACCOUNT. Several matters in connection with the fcotks going on at the wharves were considered by the Harbour Board yesterday a&emoon. The following recommendations of the Special Standing Committee *c the matter of asphalting contracts for Railway and Queen-street wharves were adopted-.— 1. "That the representatives of Ferro Concrete Company and the aeuchatel Asphalte Company'concurring *ith Committee, the Board be recommended that the completion of the asphalting for So. 3 contract. Railway Sferf, and also the asphalting for Queenfoeet -n-harf be taken out of Ferro Conle t« Company's contract, and that arjteßgements be made with the Xeuchatel Company, Ltd.. to complete the *ork as specified at schedule rates , and to the existing specification and renditions of contracts." 2. "That the a * n g-engineer prepare a statement on j-twe basis, adjusting the accounts as wfareen the "Board and the contractors, M< i submit same to this Committee." The sub-committee appointed to eon«deras to the Ferro Concrete Company's account te piles was adopted as follows *«nout comment.-—'"That this Commit- «* recommend that the Ferro Concrete Vrtmpaay's account, amounting to £631 *=-. be not paid, and that the Company £j°Berea the suns of £87 18s. in fuU of the account in question."
