John Rainsley Jones, verger in St. Mary's Church, for many years, and captain of the local Fire Brigade for some years, died suddenly this morning. He was engaged in his duties in the church when attacked by a fit. He rallied, but died while walking home. NAPIER, this day. A prisoner, arrested lie-re in connection with the church robbery at Masterton, is a boy under 14 years of age. He has been remanded to Masterton.
