The Minister leaves by the steamer tomorrow evening on a visit to Mercury Bya, Tairua and the Eastern Coast of "the Goromandel Peninsula. HON. W. HALL-JONES. The Hon. W. Hall-Jones. Minister for Public Works, arrived in Rotorua by the express on Saturday evening. He left Wellington on Thursday, and made an inspection of the North Island Main Trunk line. The object of the inspection is that he may be able to make a personal report to Parliament. The Minister left again by the express "on Tuesday, en route for Wellington.
