A 21 years' lease of the Whaingaroa Domain reserve, which comprises the Whaingaroa Hotel and 347 acres of land, was offered at auction by Mr. R. C. Carr to-day. The only bid, one of £35 a year, by the executors of the late Mr. Samuel Wilson's estate, was accepted.
