The whole of the machinery was overhauled, and tlie boilers were fitted with new furnaces, whilst the vessel herself . has been renovated throughout The Indraghiri left Liverpool, her final port on February 35, and experienced rough weather to the Cape of Good Hope, which was passed on March 25. Then as the ship's officers were in hopes of making a remarkably fine passage, tbe weather broke, and for many days fierce gales raged. With but. the intermission of thick dirty weather, which set in on Good Friday, and lasted for a couple of days, the remainder of the trip was marked by fine weather.
