The Seamen's Union has agreed to coastal shipowners' having a month, to. arrange all non-unionists among their crews being brought together into six steamers. Meantime the unionists and, non-unionists will,work together in the vessels. . Trouble also cropped up in Newcastle; where 33 out of 3S non-unionists employed by the Newcastle-Hunter Riyei; Company struck on the ground that un-der-the new" agreement they were paid casual rates instead of weekly wages. Eleven, returned to. work and the- places of the others were filled by unionists.
