AUCKLAND RACING GLUB'S AUTUMN MEETING. ■Mr Geo. Morse has declared the following weights for events to be decided on the first day of the Auckland Racing Club's autumn meeting:

Acceptances are due on Friday nest. AVOKDALE JOCKEY CLUB. Nominations for the Avondale Handicap, Autumn Handicap. Railway Handicap, and Steeplechase Handicap, to be run at the Avondnle Jockey Club's autumn meeting on April 29th and May 2nd, close with the secretary (Mr H. H. Hayr) to-night at 9 o'clock AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB'S AUTUMN MEETING. The opening day's racing in connection with the Auckland Trotting Club's autumn meeting takes place at Alexandra Park, Epsom, to-morrow (Saturday). Horse owners hrive made a , good response to the handicaps accorded them by the club's handicapper (Mr Edwards), and there is every prospect of a highly successful day's sport. The first race is timed to start at 1.15 p.m., and a special tram service has been arranged for to convey visitors to the course.
