FBENCH CIiTTB. The annual meeting of the French Club was held last evening, H. Boenfve (Frencn Consul) presiding. Tie president stated that the average membership during the last year had been 200, and that the dab was in credit balance to the extent of about i7O. sThe following officers were elected for the year 1908:—President, it. R. Boeufve; vicepresidents, Mr Prickett (American ConsulGeneral) and Mrs Arthur Myers; secretary, Mr James Dnimrnond; assistant-secretary. v 5 librari:ms . M- Francis and Mdlle. Bouillon; committee, Mesdames Baker, Carr, Mdlle. Blanche Bouillon, and Messrs P. Ardern. S. T. Clarke, Thomas GresUam. Th. Hanoney. and Bruce -Wallace; auditors, Messrs W. R. Walker and Fagan. A comedy entitled, "A Qnoi Revent les Jeunes Gens" received highly creditable treatment at the hands of Mr Ardern, Mdlle Blanche Bouillon, and Miss A.
