CORDIAIi WELCOME TO THE
FLEET

LONDON, March 22.
M. Kogoro Takahira, Japanese Ambassador to Rome, and formerly Minister to the United States (in which capacity he signed the Russo-Japanese peace treaty), interviewed in Paris, said that the Japanese approved of the immigration agreement with America, which entirely aimed at the direction of Japanese emigration to Korea and Formosa.
The United States fleet, added M. Takahira, would receive a cordial welcome from Japan, which wanted peace. .
