IMMURING OF STOESSEL
Placed in Notorious Fortress.

ST. PETEKSBUKG, March 22. Ex-General Stoessel has surrendered to the authorities and has been placed in a Jarred cell in the fortress of St. Peter snd St. Paul, only 19 feet square. It adjoins the cell in which Admiral Niebogatoff is.incarcerated.
[The fortress of St. Peter and St. Paul is a place of'dreaded memory to many a suspect arrpsted for some political offence. It is situated on an islet near the north bank of the Neva, opposite St. Stoessel has to undergo seven years' imprisonment in a fortress—which in Rnssia. is.imprisonment in a oarticuhily unpleasant form.]
