THE WHAKABUA. * The s.s. Whakarua, of the Tyser Line, left Sydney for Auckland yesterday, in continuation , of ncr voyage from London. She should arrive here on Thursday next THE AYRSHIRE. The s.s. Ayrshire left Waitara for Auckland this morning, to load general cargo for London, on behalf of the New Zealand Shipping Co. She should arrive here on Wednesday next, and after loading here proceeds south to complete. THE STAR, OF ENGLAND. The s.s. Star of England arrived from New York, via Melbourne and Sydney, at 10 p.m. yesterday. She left New York on January 14, and -experienced fine weather to arrival at Sydney on March 9. The voyage was resumed on Tuesday la.st, and stormy weather conditions prevailed for the next two days, thence fair weather to arrival. She has 390 tons of general cargo for Auckland, and large shipments for Southern ports. THE SURREY. The s.s. Surrey arrived from West Coast of England ports, via Capetown and Hobart, at 11 aja. yesterday. She left Liverpool on January 18, and arrived at Laa Palmas a week later, sailed on January 26 for Capetown, arrived on February 15, left on February 16, arriving at Hobart (Tasmania) on the evening of the 13th inst She left the Taamanian port last Saturday week and arrived ais above. Between Las Palmas and the Cape etrong head winds and sea were met with, and the ship laboured heavily. Strong west and south-westerly winds were experienced on the run to Hobart, while fair weather was met with in crossing to New Zealand. Captain F. W. Corner is in command, and he has with him as. chief officer Lieutenant Gann, R.N.R., second officer Mr E. Morphett, third officer Mr 0. WTUiams, fourth officer Mr A. Pyper, fifth officer "Vfr Brunn, and medical officer Dr. Gordon. The vessel has about 2000 tons of cargo to discharge at Auckland before leaving for the South. THE WIMMERA. The a.s.
