Normal won. but were disqualified, one competitor leaving before time. Six teams started. Old Boys under 17 championship, 72yds: Punly 1; Matthews, 2. Open Handicap. 72yds: W. Geddes, 1: McCarthy, 2. Fourteen started in two heats. A good race. An exhibiton of ancy diving was given by the Waitematn Seagull Club, the members taking part being "Messrs. Long, Kronfeld, Sluce, Joan, and McCarthy. WAITESIATA LADIES' SWMSQMi CLUB. The Waitemata Ladies' Club will hold their second carnival on Thursday •evening next. An event of considerable Interest will be the 72 yards championship of Auakland.
