ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING. SUBSCBrPTIONS IK THOUSANDS (Received 5.4 a.m.) LONDON.. March 20. A great meeting of women suffragists Ipjsleld in the Albert Hall yesterday to •jFefccme a number of released suffragettes. Mrs. Pankhurst, in presiding, urged i item to redouble their efforts to secure enfranchisement. The self-denial work had increased their funds by £2500. An anonymous lady had promised one thousand a year, and Mrs. Lawrence had Bade a gift of one thousand. Subsequently an appeal for funds was Bade to the meeting and over £2500 was subscribed.
