SEVERE-LOSSES REPORTED. IHBHIING RESCUE 'WORK. TWO MEN DROWNED. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The floods are receding at Narrabri, but railway comunication Is still interrupted owing to washaways. The damage done to property and losses of stock are very severe. Rescue work provided some thrilling experiences. At Weewaa the water was still rising yesterday and residents took refuge in buildings on high ground. Business was completely suspended. The railway was under water for miles, and parties were out rescuing isolated families. The bodies of two men were found floating in the river. At Tamworth, a family took refuge on a haystack, where they spent two days.
