" The -wool offered is an indifferent selection, and competition is dull. Merino prices have declined from 5 per cent to 10 per cent below the closing rates of the last sale. Scoured merino, burry and seedy, neglected. Of fine crossbred wools hardly any have been offered up to the present. Medium and coarse crossbred prices have declined 15 per cent. The New Zealand Loan and ■Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from their London House:— '"Wool. As compared with last sales' closing rates, prices are about 71 per cent to 10 per cent lower for merino, and 10 per cent to 15 per cent lower for crossbred. Bidding inactive." LONDON CABLE.
