THE PREMIER'S MOVEMENTS.
The Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, arrived at Onehunga by the Rarawa this morning, being met on the wharf by Messrs. J. Rowe (Mayor of Onehunga), A. Kidd and F. Lawry, M.F.s, T. Harle Giles, E. G. Allsworth (president of the Onehunga branch Liberal and Labour Federation), Chas. Bagley (chairman Mt. Roskill Road Board), and others. He proceeded direct to Ngaruawahia, where he will be present at the regatta to-day. This evening he returns to town, and to-morrow he leaves by special train to attend, in company with the Governor, the Maori gathering at Waharoa, to consider the Maori petition to the Kirm regarding Maori rights.
