(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DROWNED WliiLE BATHING. FEILDING, this day. A man named Robert Henderson was drowned yesterday while bathing at the mouth of the Rangitikei river. The body was recovered to-day. Mrs. Alfred Smith was drowned in the Buller river at lnangahua junction on Saturday. She was the wife of a wellknown cattle dealer, and was bathing with two younger ladies. She walked out in shallow water, hut stepped over a ledge of rock into eight feet of water and was drowned. THROAT CUT WITH A RAZOR. WELLINGTON, this .day. Frederick Rodney, who was employed on the steamer Hiuiitangi, was discovered in a boarding-house early this morning with a severe wound in his throat and si blood-stained razor in his hand. It is not considered that his injurirs will be fatal. SUPPOSF.D SUICIDE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) INGLEWOOD, this day. The body of Mrs. C. Shaw was found drowned in the Waipukuiti Biyfer close to her honipstead yesterday. ~She left the house while he,r husband was milking. She has been suffering from melancholia since her last child was born about a month ago. , r
