THIS DAY.
(Before Mr. C. C. Kettle, S.M.).
Inebriate. —A quintette of first time convivialists were the only ones listed, the male section, three, being called upon for the usual toll, while the one woman who appeared was conceded the line, and allowed to retire upon payment of the cab fare. The blushes of the fifth on the sheet were spared the Court, forfeiture of bail being chosen to the public gaze. Maintenance.—Henry Kelly was ordered to pay 10/ per week towards tho support of bis wife, and 2/6 a week for each of his four children, the money to be paid into Court. Ernest William Saunders was ordered to pay 5/ a week towards the support of his illegitimate child, with birth expenses, £4, and costs.
